The Wumpus Information Retrieval System – TREC Queries

If you want to perform TREC experiments with Wumpus, or if you want to run TREC queries using Wumpus in order to obtain a comparative baseline for the technique you are testing, here is an easy way to do it:

The [trec] output format modifier is supported by all ranked queries, e.g. bm25 (Okapi BM25), qap (MultiText QAP), pontecroft (Ponte-Croft language modeling), lmd (language modeling with Dirichlet smoothing).
